Illustrations & Visual Arts
Bring your meetings/events and conferences to life through illustration. Having an experienced illustrator will enhance engagement at your event, providing you with a visual representation of feedback and ideas - the perfect add-on for corporate events, away days, consultations and hackathons! Stacey Harding is our qualified illustrator and has been working with us for 4 years, capturing the voices of people with learning disabilities through illustrations which can be used after your event for a wide range of purposes, from supporting funding bids, to use within reports and as evidence of engagement and co-production.

Research
Research is important as it helps us find out about the past, learn from it and find solutions for the future. People with learning disabilities have told us that being involved in research is important. To find out what it’s like to have a learning disability and what people’s experiences are in different aspects of their lives, they need to be involved from the beginning for it to be meaningful. For example, in 2013 we undertook the research project ‘Looking into Abuse: Forgotten Voices’ with the University of South Wales into the Abuse of People with Learning Disabilities and have helped provide research to inform the new NHS Health Profile Form for people with Learning Disabilities. We have an experienced team ready and waiting to be involved, and so if you are a researcher or part of a research team and would like to discuss working with us, please get in touch!
