Stepping out into Nature

Stepping Out Into Nature is an activity for adults with learning disabilities, provided by qualified staff at Cwm Taf People First. Would you like to try a new outdoor activity such as hiking, bushcraft, canoeing or horse riding? We can help people access activities in nature, helping you develop new hobbies, skills, and confidence, whilst enjoying the great outdoors!

Activities can be either 1:1 or in small groups. Please reach out to us to talk about how we can support you.

Codi Llais

We are Codi Llais, a Welsh learner’s choir for people with learning disabilities led by Music Therapist, Erin Williams-Jones. The choir was formed to create an inclusive opportunity for people with learning disabilities to embrace the Welsh language.

The choir co produce and release their own original Welsh language material with the therapist. Their songs include themes of inclusion and equality for people with learning disabilities, to raise awareness of the inequality which people with learning disabilities endure in everyday life.

The choir have now released two original songs, as well as recreated their own bilingual cover and have had the opportunity to perform in their local community, as well as at the Eisteddfod in Pontypridd 2024 and Wrexham 2025.
